How to broadcast using Audio Hijack

This article explains how to broadcast to Revma using audio Hijack.

Instructions

Open Audio Hijack

Audio Hijack is only available on MacOs

Start a new session

On the new session window choose “internet Radio - Broadcast to an online radio server”

Adjust the bricks according to your preferences (The application you want to play content from, the input device etc.). You also have the option to add more blocks according to your preference, which you can find at the right side menu bar in the library

While in Revma.com, navigate to your Station and from there to Settings>Broadcast. This is where the necessary credentials can be found.

In Audio Hijack, single left click on the Broadcast Brick and navigate to the “setup” panel. On “server type” choose “Icecast 2”. Copy the necessary credentials from your station settings to the empty brackets.

(Server Address, Port, Username, Mount password, Mount point)

Note that any minor difference in the description of the credentials between the station settings and the encoder, do not in any way affect the credentials or their use. For example, the password field in Audio Hijack, requires the mount password from Revma settings.

After you have everything set up and ready to “go live”, start broadcasting by clicking on the bottom left circular symbol and the “broadcast” brick should say “On Air”

You are now successfully streaming to Revma!
