In this pane you will find the Stream URLs and the relay station listingtab.

under Stream URLs you can locate the links that direct to your station’s stream.The Main URL uses the most common media streaming protocol.

The HLS (HTTP Live Streaming) URL uses m3u8 files to describe media streams and it uses HTTP for the communication between the server and the client. It is the default media streaming protocol for all ios devices, but it can be used on Android and web browsers.

M3U is a computer file format for a multimedia playlist. By entering the M3U URL in a browser, the file is downloaded locally and can be used for listening to the station for a broader audience.

PLS is also a computer file format for a multimedia playlist. By entering the PLS URL in a browser, the file is downloaded locally and can be used for listening to the station for a broader audience.

Under Relays is where you can create relay stations that rebroadcast your main station. Upon clicking on Create Relay, you can either set up a simple relay that mirrors the settings of the main station or choose to create a transcoding relay, in which case you can choose among more options to edit.

Under Profile you can edit the Station info and configure the Player of your station.

In Players, you will be able to find your station’s Stream Name (useful for using Radiojar’s API system), as well as an IFrame based player, which you can use in your website by copying and pasting the embedded code. You will also be able to configure the player to render the song that is now playing, as well as disable the autoplay optionfunctionality of the player.

The Session Rules refer to an IP-based filtering method, that allows an account administrator to route the listeners through a certain stream or a group of streams, with various actions being applied.

Some examples of how the rules can be applied are:

  • redirecting listeners from different countries to alternative content, different bitrates and even particular advertising serving static media files and/ or on demand vast ads.

  • Allowing specific groups of listeners to reach a station’s broadcast only on specific time-frames.

This feature is only available in Loop channel Stations

The playlist feature, allows you to upload a number of tracks to your station to never go silentLoop channel station, that will air whenever an encoder is not connected. If, for any reason, the connection to of the encoder(s) to the server is lost, the playlist will take over and play air the content you have uploaded, either in the order you have set, or shuffled. By default, the playlist is not set as active and will only become active if needed

Please note that in case no listeners (or encoders) are connected to your stream, the station remains idle, waiting for a connection.

You will The first need step is to upload content. After clicking on the “Upload Audio” option, you can either drag & drop, browse from your computer or Add the a Media URL to a static mp3 file.

Every time you make a change (enable “shuffle playlist”, change the order of the songs etc.) you will see the option to Save or Save and Restart Playlist. Do so before leaving the page, as any unsaved changes will be removed. When a restart or a save is successful, you will see a message at the top, indicating so.

As mentioned, the Playlist takes over when any other connection is lost. The playlist will become active and start playing when at least one listener accesses the stream. The track that is currently playing is indicated by a green “ball” “mark” next to it. If there are no listeners, the playlist will stop at that exact point and, if needed to start again, it will pickup from the same point.

Following is the Relay link. Enabling this will allow you to choose a an mp3 streaming URL from another source to broadcast via your station without the use of any other software.

Enabling Stream Alert, will allow any emails entered in the field to be notified with alerts for a series of connection activities. For a detailed description of these alerts, have a look in Stream Alerts Specifications & Messages

The source buffer indicates the pre-buffered amount of time that will be available before Revma’s infrastructure publishes the streamaudio that is loaded once the a connection is established with the infrastructure.

Currently it is not possible to alter the buffer delay. However, once available it will allow a much stabler connection between your encoder and the serverconnections for encoders that operate on weak or unstable network connections.

Under the advanced tab, you are able to check the status of your station’s server, libraryand streaming.

You are also able to restart or shutdown the station. Restarting will cause a momentary silence on the stream, whereas shutdown will cause a drop on the streamthe station to remain off air.

Next is the stream configuration, it indicates the pre-buffered amount of time that will be available for auditioning before the stream playout begins.

You can alter the buffering of the stream; increasing it will allow stabler connections for listeners with weak network reception. Reducing it will result in a more “real-time” listening experience.

The Move under Master Station option allows the station to be moved under another station and become that station’s relay. Simply search for the station you want to move it under using the search bar and click on “Move under station”.
